Daikin, an industry leader of heating, cooling, and refrigerant products based out of Japan, is creating more jobs than expected at their new Houston campus. In fact, this campus cost about $417 million dollars and is expected to employ over 5,000 workers (Source: Houston Business Journal). Built on a 90-acre parcel, this campus will feature 1.7 million square feet of manufacturing space, 400,000 square feet of lab and office space and a 1.8 million square foot distribution center.
