HomeUnion® Names Vivek Pendharkar as Chief Development Officer

Irvine, Calif. —January 26, 2015 — HomeUnion®, an online, real-estate investment management firm enabling value investing in single-family rental (SFR) properties, announced today that they have hired Vivek Pendharkar as Chief Development Officer. In this new position, Pendharkar will lead HomeUnion®’s data science, product management and software development efforts to create innovative products and services that make SFR investing simpler, transparent and efficient for investors.

Pendharkar brings more than 20 years of management expertise to HomeUnion® with experience at both Fortune 500 companies and venture-backed startups. Most recently, he served as an EIR with Artiman Ventures, a Venture Capital firm that is also an investor in HomeUnion®. Prior to that he spent six years as president and CEO of VuCast Media Inc. He has served in leadership positions at Cypress Semiconductor, Intel and Hewlett Packard. In his new role he will report to Don Ganguly, CEO of HomeUnion®.

Pendharkar is a graduate of BITS Pilani, India and holds advanced degrees from Virginia Tech and the Graduate School of Business at Stanford University.
