Atlanta has recently seen a spike in job growth as South Korea’s popular tire company Kumho put the finishing touches on a brand new facility. Close to 365 positions were created at this new manufacturing plant that will make and sell tires. The Georgia facility is over a million square feet in size and will continue hiring into the future.
Atlanta is home to many Fortune 500 giants such as Home Depot, Coca-Cola, UPS, Delta, HD Supply, and SunTrust Banks. The cost of living is lower there compared to many other parts of the country and the collection of major employers provides a solid job market.
